Does your dog have bad breath?
Make sure you take your dog to the veterinarian to make sure the bad breath isn’t a medical issue.
If your dog is well and is in dire need of minty fresh breath then try this DIY Dog Treat Recipe.
What you will need:
2 cups whole-wheat or brown rice flour
1 tbsp. activated charcoal (you can find at a pet store or any health food store)
3 tbsp. canola or vegetable oil
2/3 cup milk (low fat or regular)
1/2 cup chopped fresh mint
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
Large Mixing bowl
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.
Grease the baking sheet. A little bit of the canola or vegetable oil will work fine.
Combine flour and charcoal in the bowl.
Stir in the egg and oil and mix well.
Add the milk and mix well. You may find it easier to mix the batter with your hands instead of a spoon.
Stir in the mint and parsley.
Drop tablespoonfuls approximately 1 inch apart on the baking sheet.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool thoroughly and refrigerate in the airtight container.
I hope your dog loves these DIY Dog Treats!
